Your Advantage Health Plan covers the cost of services at network convenience clinics throughout Minnesota. Convenience clinics provide quality medical care for minor illnesses such as colds and ear infections, health screenings and vaccinations.Blue Cross, HealthPartners and PreferredOne now offer health care coverage at several convenience clinics in the Metro and St. Cloud areas for State of Minnesota Advantage Health Plan members and their dependents*. These convenience clinics can be used for simple illnesses, tests and vaccinations and are a quality alternative to emergency rooms, urgent care and family practice clinics.
Sample of covered services
Individuals with illnesses outside the scope of services or who exhibit signs of a chronic condition will be referred to their physician or, if critical, the nearest urgent care center or emergency room. Patients who can't be treated are not charged for their visit.
