Everyday LifeMatters helps state employees and their immediate family members with a wide range of personal and workplace concerns. LifeMatters’ professional team is always (24/7/365) ready to listen, share information, or provide brief counseling (up to three sessions, annually, per problem) and referral for concerns including but not limited to:

  • relationship problems
  • anxiety and depression
  • substance abuse
  • grief and loss
  • legal and financial problems
  • work/family balance
  • parent/child problems
  • domestic violence
  • harassment
  • work performance problems
  • burnout and coworker conflicts


LifeMatters services are confidential and voluntary. As part of your employee benefit plan, EAP is provided at no cost to you. If your path to resolving the problem will include another resource, such as a service in your health plan or community, your consultant will help you identify and connect with that resource.

LifeMatters’ web site contains a wealth of information, tools, and self-assessment instruments for all kinds of situations.
